Bezel-Set Diamond Cluster Ring/ Prong set Open Ring:
Multi-generational diamond rings to be made into two rings. One for daughter-in-law and one for granddaughter. These two pieces were crafted using original diamonds from several antique rings. We harvested the diamonds and reworked them into these new creations. The two women had a very close bond to the original owner. They have different tastes but wanted to honor her legacy while keeping the designs true to their own individual styles. We were able to incorporate all of their choices and use these vintage diamonds to create two very unique and modern rings.
Double Garnet Pendant:
Two heart-shaped Mozambique garnets totaling one carat and Sterling Silver were used to create this pendant. The client wanted to use these stones which were once in a pair of earrings belonging to her late mother. Unfortunately the earrings were damaged, and couldn't be salvaged. We collaborated on a design which could be worn daily and also in alignment with her daughter's taste and aesthetic. Both women shared the same birth month, and as garnet is the designated stone for January, this pendant serves both purposes.
The Lion Rampart:
Hand-fabricated Sterling Silver lion rampart pendant. This piece is entirely cut out by hand including both the lion and the disc. The disc is hand-hammered into a convex shape. The satin finish on the disc, as well as the lion being high polish, are hand applied. The client wanted a piece made for his wife of over 42 years. He asked for something handcrafted and one-of-a-kind. I was given creative control on this design and so I created a piece that would represent both husband and wife.
They are very proud Irish-Americans. Being that the lion rampart is featured heavily in both crests, I thought it would be a fantastic representation of both surnames and a piece to be passed down for many generations.
Indicolite Tourmaline Diamond Necklace:
An over 4 ct tourmaline, 0.50 ct carre cut diamond and 0.14ct fancy yellow diamond in 14K rose gold. We complimented the green tones displayed in the large gemstone by fabricating the necklace from 14K rose gold. The colors all converge and compliment one another. By adding in the fancy-shaped gemstones, the result is this stunning drop necklace.
